Architectural design rooted in the tropics and a curated collection of adaptable homes and cabin models.
Located in Mariato, Veraguas, Panamá
Arquídea is an architecture studio born from the meeting of design and nature — where architecture becomes a dialogue with the land.
Founded by architect Fernanda Weinstein, Arquídea emerges from years of exploration, creation, and transformation in tropical environments.
Rooted in the tropical landscapes of Panama, we design functional, timeless homes deeply connected to their surroundings. Our work embraces climate-responsive architecture and natural materials such as earth and limestone, creating spaces that breathe with their environment and adapt naturally to tropical living.
Each project is a carefully planted seed — cultivated with intention and brought to life through experience, collaboration, and heart. From site-specific homes to ready-made tropical cabin plans, Arquídea focuses on thoughtful design that balances simplicity, performance, and beauty.
This new chapter of Arquídea celebrates conscious architecture — slower, wiser, and in harmony with the rhythms of nature — offering both custom tropical homes and ready-made architectural plans designed for warm climates, rural landscapes, and sustainable living.
